It's hard to believe that 19 winters have passed, but this is the hymn I insisted we sing all those years ago at the funeral for Michelle and Linda. It's on my mind today because Psalm 91 -- one of the most pregnant psalms for my spiritual imagination -- was chosen for the psalter today.
Typically, this is the one hymn I'm most often asked to sing as a solo. I've never been quite sure, but I'd imagine it's because this hymn is one of my absolute favorites.
