I have to admit that I started the book with a little trepidation. I was expecting a book that would echo so much of an already overwhelmed echo-chamber of one or another variety in American politics. But half-way through the book I realized Moore and I share so much precisely because of our commitment to Jesus. There are deep problems that keep us isolated from one another. And Moore is clear: The Church in America long ago sold itself out to political power over the power of the Gospel. But it doesn't have to be that way.
Making America Great Again is a challenge -- no, the challenge that the Christian community needs right now.
