I think Contemporary Churches presents solid approaches to congregational ministry.  In its brief 98 pages, readers will find research and models supporting the concepts of congregational transformation based on analysis from several sources both in the United States and other countries. 

Kavar's book is a must-read for pastors and other leaders.
