I realize, of course, that "liking" things in our day is so passive. But Go Ahead & Like It is anything but Facebook passivity. It's a course in self-exploration and self-expression. The book is filled with so much wonder and awe that I want to continue discovering the beauty in the world on my own.
And this book is still more, because the visuals are absolutely breath-taking. The lists are themselves layered explorations of the world Suskin so likes. And she's done a marvelous job visually representing that wonder in this book.
